Blow My Own Horn!

It’s March, and do you know what that means?

It means the March/April 2013 Edition of  Horn Book is available!

Making this more exciting than usual, at least for me, is what can be found on page 47: “Reading: It’s More Than Meets The Eye, Making books accessible to print-disabled children” by “Elizabeth Burns.” Yes, that’s me!

As Roger Sutton said in his Editorial, “Liz Burns and Claire Gross and Eugene Yelchin talk about books for kids who are perfectly not-weird but whose way to reading may be complicated by circumstances weirder than they should be.”

To get any more than that — you’ll need to get a copy of the Horn Book and read the article! Let me know what you think!

Yes, this is blatant self promotion.

Finally, where do I keep things like this? Well, doesn’t everyone have a brag shelf?

Edited to add: Here is a link to the text of the article, Reading: It’s More Than Meets The Eye.
